House Plant Care
Each plant requires a little different care for longer life. As a rule of thumb, be sure your plant is getting an adequate amount of sunlight and the soil is kept lightly moist. DO NOT OVERWATER!! This is one of the most common ways people kill their plants. Soil should not be soaking wet or sitting in water.
Rose Care
To get the most out of your roses, change the water daily. If roses are out of water for more than 30 seconds, re-cut stems on a sharp angle under water. This gives the stem more surface area to drink from, and prevents air bubbles from blocking the water flow. Keep your roses away from direct sunlight and in a cooler area in your house/office. Heat causes roses to open and dry out a lot faster.

Caring For Your Arrangement
To make your flowers in a vase last longer change the water on a daily basis. To do this, fill a new vase with fresh water and quickly move the flowers into the clean water. If the stems are out of water for more than 30 seconds, they should be re-cut before being put back in water. If you received flowers in a basket or other container, make sure you check the water level daily. The flowers in these arrangements are cut and the stems inserted into a block of oasis. This needs to be moist at all times so the flowers can drink the water. Keep your flowers in a cool place in your house/office and away from direct sunlight. Heat makes flowers open and dry out faster.
